For this scheme, recruitment will be done on 24,473 posts for Anganwadi workers and 26007 posts for Anganwadi assistants.

Nutritional production units will be operated for Hot Cooked Meal Scheme

To ensure 100% benefit of take home ration to the beneficiaries, the number of nutritious food production units will be increased. At present 163 nutritional production units will be operated in the entire state while tender was issued for 204 units.

QR code will be provided in take home ration packets

To extend the benefits of the Hot Cooked Meal Scheme to the beneficiaries, QR codes will be provided in the take home ration packets. This will bring transparency and the packet will be delivered to the beneficiary on time.

The department will be reviewed again every month

District Magistrates, Nodal Officers and officials of the department will inspect the Government Observation Home every month for the review meeting of the Women and Child Development Department. So that the situation there can be checked.

For this scheme, the Chief Minister has instructed the ministers and officials of the department to inspect one commissary every week. Along with this, facilities will be increased in the Government Observation Home and all the work of the department will be completed in a month.
