मध्य प्रदेश ओलावृष्टि नुकसान भरपाई योजना has been started by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan to provide financial security to the farmers of the state. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to farmers in areas where crops have been damaged due to hailstorm or excessive rainfall. Along with this, there is a provision to provide financial assistance even in case of death of the farmer or any member of his family due to lightning. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told through a tweet that loan recovery will also be postponed for farmers whose crops have suffered extensive damage due to unseasonal rains or hailstorms. Along with this, their interest will also be paid by the government.
