Assistance amount received under Haryana Paternity Benefit Scheme
Under the Paternity Benefit Yojana, a total amount of Rs 21,000 /– is provided as financial assistance to the eligible beneficiary. This assistance amount to the beneficiary workers is given in 02 installments.
- 1st – Rs 15,000/- for taking care of new born babies
- And second – 6,000 rupees to ensure proper eating and nutritious diet of the mother (wife of the workers) after the birth of the child.

Eligibility for Haryana Paternity Benefit Yojana
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Haryana.
- The beneficiary should be a laborer and should have a labor card.
- The applicant should have the birth certificate of his newborn child.
- Beneficiary should also have 1 year membership certificate.
- If the newborn baby dies after birth, then that family will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Only 02 children of a labor family will be given the benefit of this scheme. If the children are daughters, then 03 daughters will get the benefit of this scheme.
- If a worker or his wife is taking advantage of any other scheme similar to Pitritva Labh Yojana, then they will not get the benefit of Pitritva Labh Yojana.
The applicant will have to apply within 1 year of the birth of the child, only then they will get the benefit of this scheme.
